What is audio restoration?

Audio restoration is the process of enhancing and repairing audio recordings to improve their quality. This includes removing unwanted noise, clicks, and pops, ensuring a clearer sound for listeners.

The audio restoration process typically involves analyzing the audio file to identify issues, applying specialized software tools to remove noise and artifacts, and then enhancing the overall sound quality. This can include equalization, compression, and other techniques to restore the audio to its best possible state.

What is mastering?

Mastering is the process of preparing and transferring recorded audio, usually from a finished mix, to a mastered format (like CD or WAV).

Mastering requires critical listening; results depend upon the intent of the engineer, their skills, the accuracy of the speaker monitors, and the listening environment.

Mastering engineers often apply equalization and dynamic range normalization and other processes in order to optimize sound translation on all playback systems and to present the audio in its best possible state.

Hey! Andy did a fabulous job mastering my track. I’m now sending the rest of the album in for him to sort! A total honor to work with him.

Fantastic Results!

I had a great experience with the audio enhancement services. Andrew removed all the noise and made my tracks sound professional and so much better! My dad’s old recordings sound fantastic now.

Alex Bostock-Smith

Exceptional Mastering!

I was amazed at how my mixes came alive. I had tried an AI online ‘robot’ thing and it sounds rubbish, compressed and over loud compared to what Andy achieved. Exceeded my expectations!
