I will be happy to get back to you as soon as possible.
What formats do you accept for restoration or mastering?
For optimal results, I can accept a variety of formats for restoration or mastering, including analogue tape, vinyl records, cassette tapes, DAT, CD and digital files. I prefer to work at 96K 24 bit to 44.1k 16 bit.
How long does the process take and how much does it cost?
The restoration and mastering process can typically up to an hour, for a four minute track of music. An album might typically take up to 6 hours depending on what is required.
ONLINE TRACK: It can take 24 hours from agreeing and receiving the work to be done, to delivering it back to you, depending on the complexity and length of your project and my current workload. I will keep you fully updated throughout the process.
ONLINE ALBUM: It can take 3 or 4 days, from agreeing and receiving the work to be done, to delivering it back to you, depending on the complexity and length of your project and my current workload. I will keep you fully updated throughout the process.

My fee is normally £100 per hour. All costs are discussed with you before undertaking your project. All fees are paid in advance before any work begins. If additional work is needed, this will be discussed at the time and then paid for in advance. No money – no job!
Can I listen to samples of your work?
I have a portfolio of audio restoration samples available for restoration examples that I can forward to you. You can listen to these samples to get an idea of the quality of my work and the results you can expect.
